About Beaches of Florida

An editorial guide to Florida's coastline, built by people who actually spend time on these beaches.

Who We Are

Beaches of Florida is published by S2 Industries LLC, a small team with a genuine obsession with Florida's coastline. We cover more than 55 beaches across four distinct coastal regions: the Gulf Coast, the Atlantic Coast, the Panhandle, and the Florida Keys.

This is not a content farm. We visit these beaches, take our own photos, talk to locals, and write from experience. When we say a parking lot fills up by 9 a.m. on summer weekends, it's because we showed up at 9:30 and circled for twenty minutes.

What We Cover

Florida has an extraordinary amount of coastline, and choosing the right beach for your trip depends on a lot of variables: water clarity, crowd levels, whether you can bring a dog, how far it is from where you're staying, and whether there's parking that won't cost you half your vacation budget.

We cover all of that. Each beach page includes honest crowd assessments, parking details, the best time to visit, and specific tips that are actually useful. We also maintain longer guides on topics like beach safety, weather by month, and the real differences between Gulf and Atlantic swimming conditions.

We are always adding to the site. The Panhandle in particular has some stretches we are still working our way through, and we have an upcoming trip planned to fill in the gaps.

Our Editorial Approach

Every beach page on this site starts with a visit. We research the basics, cross-reference local sources and park service information, and then update pages when things change. Parking fees go up. New amenities get added. Beaches that were quiet a few years ago become popular. We try to keep up.

We fact-check distances, confirm beach access hours, and flag seasonal closures when we know about them. If you find something that's out of date or just plain wrong, please tell us. A note from a local who drives past a beach every day is worth more than any amount of desk research.

How the Site Is Supported

Beaches of Florida is free to use and always will be. We support the site through a combination of display advertising and affiliate partnerships.

Some links on this site, particularly links to hotels, vacation rentals, and gear, are affiliate links. That means if you click through and make a booking or purchase, we may earn a small commission. The cost to you is the same either way. Our partners currently include Booking.com, VRBO, and Amazon.

Affiliate relationships have no influence on what we write or which beaches we recommend. We don't accept payment for coverage, and we don't rank beaches based on who pays us. The editorial content exists independently of the monetization.
